You know, it doesn't take long to realize why Grant and Jason are the gold standard for Paranormal researchers! This book about TAPS cases is told in Grants' unique, calm and matter of fact voice that we know so well from GH. It is also a very good read.
It has sections that are basically case studies that happened pre-Ghost Hunters. There are some extremely interesting and sometimes challenging cases and the findings are presented on each. The really great thing is that almost every chapter is…

What can I say about St. James that will adequately describe it and not detract from it as an active site and a registered historic landmark?...I chose the designation of trip ten because like most of the others I have usurped in the area as one of my ongoing sites, I have lost count so it seemed like a legitimate approximation ...The legend associated with this location as promulgated by the links below is founded on the police reports of between 8-10 hooded “monk” figures ascending the tombsto…

The ever spinning wheel of time and a confluence of events lead me to spend most of Thanksgiving weekend in Louisville Kentucky and I felt that I would be remiss in not making the pilgrimage to Cave Hill National Cemetery, a site that actually rivals Mt Carmel
in geographic size at 296 acres as well as historic points of interest and reported paranormal activity...the unseasonably warm, clear, late November day bathed the dreamlike Cave Hill scenery with a preternatural glow as the first of the…

Far west suburban Downers Grove is one of many of the main street revitalization projects designed to help reinvigorated the existing classic storefront shops that languished economically in the early 90's with the inception of the Wal Mart superstore model by way of the addition of
specialty shops, concept bar & grills, and of course “Starbucks... The Downtown Cemetery lies at almost the epicenter of this now bustling Main street business district who’s side streets
are now dotted with new…

Bachelor’s Grove Trip 14
Trip 13 or 14... I have lost count to be honest, but the allure of the legend and the cynosure of the site itself has not diminished over time or frequency of visits ...
The last time around I wandered father out beyond the perimeter of the cemetery across the creek and adjacent to the old road that is in tact in some spots and is virtually undistinguishable from the forest floor in others...from an archeological standpoint it was interesting to see that there are still…

When I went to see this movie I didnt count on the way it would affect me.When my daughter and I saw the previews we were stoked to see it. When the opportunity arose this weekend to see it we jumped at the chance. We both got a bit more than we were planning on.Both of us being in a blossoming Paranormal Investigation team it was a sure bet. This "mockumentary" struck chords within us that still lingers the next day.It was exceptionly well written and well res…

ATTENTION FLORIDA DRIVERS!
YOU MAY BE DRIVING OVER GRAVES OF THE DEAD!
Beneath the asphalt of Interstate-Four, in Seminole County at the south end of the St. John's River bridge, is a small family cemetery. This cemetery, under the eastbound lane of the highway, contains four graves of an early pioneer family who died from yellow fever. The State of Florida has refused to move, or place a marker at this site. What is more "haunting," is that according to officials with the Highway Department,…

The OVIEDO LIGHTS
On Snow Hill Road near Oviedo and Chuluota, Florida, every local, and especially the kids, know about the Oviedo Light, also called the Chuluota Light. It the typical story of a ghost light, greenish hazy blob of light that rises up and fades away, except in some reports where it has been alleged to have chased people. UNX investigated this one with one of our contributing geologists and a biologist. Sorry to spoil the fun, but the eerie light is another swamp gas event, simpl…

Resurrection (Mary) Cemetery 7
The gloomy and overcast October 1st morning provided an idyllic backdrop for my return to the older section of Resurrection Cemetery ...The stately trees that liberally adorn the grounds there were now tempered with tints of orange, amber and magenta leaving little doubt that the encroaching fall weather would inevitably transform them into a myriad of autumn colors before rendering them as gaunt, skeletal and barren stalks for the duration of the winter months ah…

Yes it was interesting, and lucky she had the foresight to stop me from blabbing first. (That's very hard to do!) :)
The fact that she was able to validate at least on a household level that we were experiencing the same thing did help! I think that no matter how interested or well versed in the Paranormal you are, it can be disconcerting when you are in the position that we were.
However, it took a lot of that "nervous", "I must be nuts feeling" out of it! We weren't really frightened by our si…

Several times in my life I have had experiences that really rekindled my interest in the paranormal; here is the beginning of one. My ex-wife and I had been house shopping and been very disappointed at the market offerings. We happened to take a short cut and found a cute house that we really liked in Orlando Florida where we lived. It was for sale by owner and the price was right. We had some odd feelings, but mostly about the older couple that were selling the house. It was a bright sunny hous…

we have tried our best to answer the most common questions tourists ask about Australia
These questions about Australia were posted on an Australian Tourism website. Obviously the answers came from fellow Aussies.....just trying to help:
Q: Does it ever get windy in Australia? I have never seen it rain on TV, so how do the plants grow? (UK)
A: We import all plants fully grown and then just sit around watching them die.
Q: Will I be able to see kangaroos in the street? (USA)
A: Depends how muc…

ANYONE who claims there is no spirit left in the New South Wales Parliament should try spending a night there alone.
There is the ghostly man who walks through the floor, a silent horse drawn carriage out the front and, down the road, a phantom baby cries at night.
Once a hospital complete with a morgue, NSW Parliament House is giving up its ghostly secrets for a new history project.
Most staff have…

Tuesday 18 August 2009
Lemon-headed aliens, scrambled fighter jets and mysterious lights over a cemetery were among details of some 800 UFO sightings released by British authorities on Monday.
But another intriguing finding to emerge from the 1981-1996 archives was a surge in reports at the time of UFO-related blockbusters such as 1996's Independence Day, not to mention the British television run of The X-Files.…

During the day, a face was in the window of the house behind ours (around 2pm). A birdhouse was in the yard behind ours. An hour later the child in the house went into our backyard to pick berries. She came inside and said she saw the birdhouse there, and when she was coming in, she turned and looked. The birdhouse was gone. The male in the house went outside, and the birdhouse was not there. (Quick story on the birdhouse. It appears and disappears aseemingly at random. We have pics with it ther…

Hello to anyone who decides to read this. With all of the happenings around my home, I have decided I need to keep a journal of the events. If you want to keep up with it, great! Otherwise this will mostly be for my records. It's amazing how difficult it is when trying to fill someone in about all the things that have happened.
On this particular day, I was sitting on the back patio and talking on my cellphone with my mom in Vicksburg. I was telling her that my best friend from highschool's mom…

So Tony and I went to St. Augustine the weekend of the 17th through the 19th of July. And mind you, I don't know my way around like Tony does. He knows a lot of the paranormal hot spots and he just cruises through them without telling me to see if I pick up anything. I'm a sensitive and I pick up on things quite easily.
He took me around the area of the Spanish Military Hospital and I immediately started picking up on stuff. My head felt heavy and I got an immediate stomach ache. I walked up an…
